About us
Our team at GoAfrica Safaris & Travel works together with the aim of making holidays to Kenya
and East Africa possible for everyone.
We have made tremendous progress over the last 7 years concerning disability awareness and many
stakeholders in the industry have joined us in making Kenya and East Africa accessible for travelers with a disability.
Esther is a vibrant Kenyan with a passion for travel and nature. She has a wealth of experience in different sections of the tourism & hospitality industry. In her free time she works with her local community especially the underprivileged people, youth and children.
Yvonne is Dutch, but has been living in Kenya with her family for the past 20 years. She loves wildlife and adventure and has worked for several international tour-companies. Yvonne founded the Diani Children’s Village, a project for underprivileged children and young people.
Maria is a Kenyan woman of integrity with a great passion for people and nature. Her vast experience of not less than 20 years in hospitality industry explains her great wealth in the tourism sector. Maria is in charge of reservations, she keenly makes sure that bookings are well handled. She also comes in very handy as our local assistant/helper.
Kelvin is a Kenyan university graduate in Tourism Management and Accounting. He speaks English and French. His dream is to ensure Kenya and Tanzania tourism destinations, products and services are accessible to all people, regardless of their physical limitations, disabilities or age. Kelvin will not only make it possible for you to have a barrier free travel to Kenya and Tanzania but also make it green for the sake of future generations.
Together we all have over 20 years experience in tourism and hospitality industry. It has been a long time dream for us to create opportunities for travelers with a disability to enjoy the beauty and diversity of this part of the world – our home. Over the past few years we have done a lot of research and training to make this dream a reality. We are proud to be part of the group that pioneered the Bradt Travel Guidebook Access Africa by Gordon Rattray. It’s now our job to ensure we make your dream holiday possible.
