Satao Elerai Camp Amboseli

Both the tents and the suites are en suite with the suites also having luxurious baths. The facilities are supplied with hot running water provided by eco friendly solar units.
One of the biggest advantages of Satao Elerai Camp is that being located on its own private conservation area clients have the chance to view wildlife in private surroundings. In addition it also offers clients the chance to enjoy spectacular bush sundowners, night game drives and game walks on the conservancy, activities that are not available to the lodges located within the park.
The rooms at Satao Elerai Camp were built and designed to ensure that your stay will be in complete luxury. Huge beds with top quality mattresses and pillows and a large luxurious duvet ensure that you will sleep through the night in total comfort. Large sliding doors open out onto your own private verandah overlooking the plains below and Amboseli National Park. Each room has its own bathroom with a view, designed using natural rock and acacia wood; bathrooms have a design and feel unique to Elerai.
Dinners at Satao Elerai Camp are served a la carte. Using locally grown vegetables and fruit a wide variety of dishes is prepared to suit all tastes. On a clear night tables are set out on the terrace where clients can enjoy a meal under the stars. Regularly the Mountain will be clear early evening and can be seen lit up by the moon from your dinner table.
Amboseli Sopa Lodge
click the picture, 4 photos available!Nestled in 190 acres of wooded maasai land, the lodge sits on the foot hills of Africa?s highest mountain, mt Kilimanjaro. Mature wooded gardens with a variety of trees and plants, from thorn trees and acacias, to fragrant frangipanis, colorful bougainvillea and giant cactus plants thrive in the surroundings.
Accommodation is in 83 rooms in total .40 rooms with two queen size beds of which, 6 of which have interconnecting doors ideal for families and 24 rooms can be turned into triples on request.21 rooms with one queen size bed.
Kibo restaurant named after the tallest peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, is a round structure with a thatched papyrus covered roof and an exterior giving it a feel of an African hut. The exterior walls are plastered to look like rough and painted earth red /mustard color, giving it an African bush like ambiance.
The lobby is open, spacious and airy. It has a high ceiling; with glass painted with colorful paraphernalia sketches, and the bottom f this are beautiful green plants.

The main guest area consists of the reception, lounge area, restaurant and bar lounge and a gift shop. The other facility within the lodge is a swimming pool with a Jacuzzi.
The main access road into the Park from Nairobi is via Namanga (240km) on the Nairobi-Arusha road, through Meshanani gate.The other road is via Emali (228km) on the Nairobi-Mombasa road. Access from Mombasa is mainly through Tsavo West via Kimana gate. It takes approximately 4 hours by road to Sentrim Amboseli from Nairobi and 50 minutes by air. The camp is 15 km from the airstrip.
Amboseli Oltukai Lodge

It is an ideal spot for star gazers in the African tropical nights. The property overlooks Africa?s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro and the Amboseli plain to the south and the eastern boundary is home to several families of elephant known to be amongst the best spots in the world to watch elephants.
