Mount Meru
Mount Meru, at 4,568 mt above sl - is the fifth highest mountain in Africa and offers one of the most challenging climbs. Once as high as Kilimanjaro, two hundred and fifty thousand years ago an explosion blew out the entire eastern side of the mountain, leaving only the vast crater you can see nowadays.  [photo: Nick Fraser]

Looking out into Olduvai Gorge, Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey - renowned anthropologists - began research in the 1930's and for decades unearthed evidence of early man's existence in this place.  [photo: Kevin Mc Bride]

Balloon over Serengeti
During the air-fillling, the balloon basket lies on its side, on the ground. Passengers - usually, 16 guests - are invited to crawl in and lie on their backs. You might think that this is uncomfortable but the boarding procedure just takes few minutes and staff is there to assist you.  [photo: Ken Zaremba]

Balloon over Serengeti
Firing the burners to get lift-off. The pilot jumps into the basket as the balloon is almost at stand up position. At that moment, the ropes are untied and you gently lift-off the ground. Do not be frightened by the noise of the burners; it's part of the adventure!  [photo: Ken Zaremba]
