24-Aug-2007 - This was our third visit to Kenya. We booked our first with a tour operator but made our own arrangements with the second two. On the first we did a safari to East and West Tsavo and on the second to the Masai Mara (do, do, do see the migration if you can)

This time I just wanted to do a one day trip from Diani to Shimba Hills reserve plus Mwaluganje elephant sanctuary and after searches on the internet contacted among others "Go Africa Safaris" and was soon in touch with Esther.

Esther was helpful and knowledgeable and swift in replying to my enquires, even though my booking was just for one day. Eventually I made a reservation with her thanks to her appreciation of my requirements and a competitive quote. No money was required "up front", instead it was simply arranged Esther would meet us at our hotel after we arrived, confirm arrangements and take payment then.

A few days later we went on our trip and everything went as arranged from pick-up to drop off. Peter our driver/guide was very knowledgeable with his all round appreciation of wildlife and conservation in general. He was accommodating to our needs and everything was done to our requirements and wishes, also I was pleased to see how safety conscious he was both in parks and on the road. In short he was the best of the guides we have experienced to date.

To conclude I would recommend ?Go Africa Safaris? and intend to use them again when we return to Kenya, as we plan to do.
