9-Jan-2010 - Hello! I'm Fabio, on wheelchair for a spinal cord trauma. I dreamt for Africa tour from years but never consider because of my handicap.

On November 2009 my wife and me found the web site of GO-AFRICA Safaris and we started to think it could be possible to arrange an African trip. After the first contact we immediately found a wonderful experienced staff that guided us to organize our dream.

We arrived in Mombasa on December 26th and we met immediately Mr Leonard and his Van adapted to be used comfortably by wheelchair. We had a wonderful experience ...thank to Yvonne and Leonard and all Go Africa Safaris Staff we could reach every site we want to.

We stay in Kenya 15 days ...we had a full immersion in the Indian Ocean at Diani. With a special sand-wheelchair, rented by Go Africa Safaris, I was able to go on the beach and toke a lot of swim in the Ocean, with Southern Cross Scuba, managed by Mr Claudio Trent, I had some wonderful diving and boat ride.

We visit Mombasa Old Town, enjoyed lunch at Tamarind Restaurant, got a full historic sight from the wall of Fort Jesus. Always followed by Mr Leonard as a perfect guide. But the best experience, my wife and me got, was the SAFARI. We started thinking about one day safari ...but after Mrs. Yvonne description of access and comfort of In Park lodges, we got a three days safari in Tsavo East National Park with the special gift to have Mr Leonard as a personal Guide!!!

It was THE DREAM became TRUE ...being in the meddle of the Bush surrounded by the clear sky and the sweet scent of Africa, among gazelles, lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, crocodiles and all the wild animals in their habitat was a wonderful experience and we got the "Mal d'Afrique" that push us to do all what we can to repeat the experience as soon as possible.

We are thinking to the next African trip ...with the aim to visit the others National Parks... maybe also by hot-air-balloon ...who knows? With Go Africa Safaris everything could be possible... because they really "Make it possible!"
