Mobility/Access

Getting Around: Tracking wildlife in Africa is an incredible experience for anyone, and mobility issues need not be a bar to this unforgettable adventure. For anyone with mobility disabilities, we provide vehicles with easy access ramps. Our experienced driver/guides are always there to assist you.

During excursions and while on safari you will not find accessible toilets everywhere. A foldable toiletchair is available for use by our travelers. This chair can also function as a shower chair to make bathing easy where there are no adapted facilities.

Accommodation: We work with a wide range of safari lodges, tented camps, hotels and beach resorts to make sure that we can give you the most accessible quality accommodation available.

We personally visit, check and approve accommodation to make sure that there is wheelchair access to all rooms, restaurants, common areas, game viewing platforms and beaches. We also ensure that rooms and even safari tents have individual access, accessible verandahs or decks, and accessible and functional ensuite facilities for the disabled.

Mental Disability

Travelers with a slight mental disability are most welcome. We can arrange guided trips for individuals or groups, as per your requirements.

Hearing Impaired

Please contact for tailor made assistance. With GO Africa, you can be sure that you will receive expert guidance, and won’t miss a single moment of your safari experience.

Visually Impaired/Partially sighted

An African safari is a feast for all of the senses, and being here is about more than just seeing. The sounds of the African night, as wild lions call to each other and the savannah comes to nocturnal life, followed by the great dawn chorus as a multitude of birds greet the rising sun - this is one of the great African experiences.

Many more unforgettable experiences are available here: The warmth of the sun and the calm soothing waters of the Indian Ocean along our coastline, the sound of traditional song and dance in a local village, the chance to meet and talk with warm, welcoming people from a new and fascinating culture.

Please contact to discuss possibilities for a safari.

Assisted Travel

Sometimes travel is much easier with someone who can help you with daily tasks, like dressing, shopping, changing money and getting around. For anyone who feels they need assistance along the way, our Guided safaris/holidays with one of our trained team-members is ideal.

You let us know in which areas you require assistance, and we’ll be there.
