Ruaha National Park is part of the semi arid bush country that is common to Central Tanzania. Supported by the Great Ruaha River which flows along its eastern boundary, this 10,300 kmē park comes a close second to Serengeti National Park in the north. The park is accessible all year-round, however the greatest concentration of animals can be seen in the dry season between june and december.
